The Notre-Dame-de-Lorette is a catholic church located in Paris 9th arrondissement near Galeries Lafayette. Built in 1823 of neoclassical architecture to celebrate the miracle of transport by the angels of the house of the Virgin until Loreto, Italy, frequented by a more mundane crowd than collected. By the pen of a journalist, she gave her name to the lorettes, elegant and light women who lodged behind the church. The austere structure of Roman basilica contrasts with the pompous interior design Louis-Philippe style. Explanatory diagrams are available at the bottom of the church. The neighborhood atmosphere is very friendly with its restaurants, lively bars, theaters, cinemas, sports halls and fashion boutiques of the rue de Provence, rue de la Victoire and rue la Fayette.
