Le Marais is a famous Parisian historic area! It is located in the 3rd and 4th arrondissement of Paris near Place de la Bastille on right bank.
The Place des Vosges
Place des Vosges is one of the oldest Marais squares located east of Paris, near the fashionable Bastille district. Designed on a square plan in the seventeenth century under Henry IV (King of France), it is lined with trees and beautiful buildings with red brick facades, high windows and slate roofs.
The Place des Vosges in Marais is today a small romantic garden always well maintained and clean frequented by the inhabitants of district or the place for visit and meeting of all Parisians and tourists in love with the capital.

Near you find the trendy Oberkampf area, Place de la Republique and the Gare de Lyon train station.
