The Jardin d’Acclimatation is a leisure park located in the Bois de Boulogne near Paris and Neuilly sur Seine. In 1854, three scientists obtained from the Emperor Napoleon III, 15 hectares in the Bois de Boulogne to acclimatize animal species that can give their strength, their flesh, their wool, their products of any kind to industry and trade, or serve our recreation. The official inauguration of the Imperial Acclimatization Foundation was held October 6, 1854. A small train leaves the Maillot gate leading the children to the garden. Departures are from 13:30 to 18:00, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
