Le Jardin des Tuileries (The Tuileries Garden) is a French garden located in Paris 1st arrondissement near the Place de la Concorde and the Louvre Museum. In 1564, when Catherine de Medicis, tired of living in the Louvre, asked Philibert de l’Orme to build a palace on the site of a tuilerie. The Tuileries Palace destroyed, a vast garden was created for the great pleasure of Parisians in the heart of Paris.
